Job Summary

Responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing and reporting data related to Engineering Operations. Produces complex, high-priority recurring and ad-hoc reports with the purpose of measuring progress towards goals, measuring performance against objectives and identifying improvement opportunities. Consults directly with internal and external customers. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

What You'll Do:


Communicate findings clearly and concisely through presentations and data visualizations to business partners
Promote and evangelize a culture of excellence, data-driven discussions, healthy skepticism, intellectual curiosity, knowledge sharing, and teamwork, while maintaining an environment that is upbeat and fun
Incorporate an eye for business into analytical work: make the right assumptions, control for the right variables, and interpret results from the perspective of the business partners
Analyzes and contributes to roadmap creation in support of financials, inventory control, utilization, and reporting for business operations.


Core Responsibilities:


Collects, processes and analyzes data to provide high-priority recurring and ad-hoc reports.
Ensures policy compliance between Engineering, business, and third party vendor groups.
Partners with team members and business leaders to develop and understand metrics packages.
Analyzes qualitative and quantitative data to determine areas of improvements including gains and in the efficiency and reliability of reporting.
Consults, as necessary, with internal and external leadership. Leads and provides expertise in cross-functional projects.
Performs inventory management for quarterly audits
Budgets spend, tracking, and forecasting for hardware
Processes purchasing requests for multiple organizations
Facilitates the decommissioning of hardware and monthly/quarterly tracking


Skills & Experience We're Looking For:


Must be sufficient in Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to grasp analytic principles and techniques
Strong discernment & have an aptitude for analytics that incite action
Experienced understanding of shipping and logistics
A self-starter who demonstrates critical thinking, self-motivation, courage, and curiosity
Ability to partner with functional teams to influence and drive alignment
Technical aptitude and a strong desire for learning
Takes a proactive approach to projects with minimal direction
“Lean forward” bias to find opportunities and drive results
