BASIC FUNCTION:
• Analyzes reporting needs of clients
• Designs, deploys and automates reporting packages
• Develops ETL solutions and ensures process reliability and data quality
• Presents to clients, internal and external, insights gained while analyzing the data
• Proactively create ad hoc and systematic solutions for client needs
• Work with DBA team to ensure database performance and integrity
• Perform ad hoc data appends and provide analysis
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:
• Perform ad hoc data analysis by querying SQL Server databases
• Creates SSIS packages for ETL solutions
• Utilizes Cognos and SQLServer Reporting Services to produce reports
• Offers points-of-view to team on methods to perform tasks
• Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining results

Director, Business Intelligence
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Computer Science, or related degree.
Experience:
Experience in working SQL Server environment. Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes. 5 years of report development using Cognos and SSRS.
Knowledge and abilities:
Must be proficient in MS SQL Server
SSRS and SSIS development at an intermediate level
Cognos experience preferred
Must possess good communication skills and work effectively in a team
Must demonstrate ability to perform data analysis
