Director, College of Law
Duties: Working with Academy faculty, staff, and affiliates to organize and promote the Academy’s work and events to a wide range of audiences. Organizing and running weekly and ad hoc meetings. Making academic research and scholarly expertise accessible and available to legislators, executive-branch policymakers, judges, and other government decision-makers charged with designing and implementing America’s criminal justice system. Creating and supporting a community of scholars who can serve as a vital resource for the media on issues of criminal justice reform. Generating content to be used to promote evidence-based criminal justice reform. Coordinating with affiliated scholars and others to solicit contributions and otherwise generate content for the Academy’s website. Identifying and pursuing grant opportunities to further support the Academy’s work. Coordinating and partnering with other organizations focused on criminal justice reform. Performing other duties as assigned to assist and support the program and the law school.
