An innovative digital agency which specialise in a range of bespoke solutions on a B2B basis, have an exciting opportunity for a Senior PHP Developer to join their team, on a permanent basis. The Senior PHP Developer will be building sites from the ground up, as well as maintaining and supporting some of their existing accounts, so it is essential a good understanding of the whole development life cycle. The Senior PHP Developer will be working out of their Manchester site, once a week in an ideal world, to come in and head up important meetings. This is a great opportunity for a Senior PHP Developer to grow into more of a leadership role as they have exciting plans to grow out their digital team this year! Primarily they support a lot of eCommerce clients, however, they have a vast portfolio of clients which you will have the opportunity to work with.
No technical test is involved in this process.
Experience
:
3 years experience in a commercial environment
Good experience with back-end PHP platforms (WordPress/ Magento / Drupal or similar) - they use all 3
Good use of databases with MySQL
Experience with HTML/CSS and JavaScript (they do have a front end developer so will be basic exp)
Experience with Git version controls
Working within a fast paced environment across multiple projects
Experience working with eCommerce applications and payment portals (Stripe, PayPal etc)
Ensuring sites are fully mobile responsive
Experience working with 3rd party API’s and plug-ins
Designing and implementing new features and functionality as well as building bespoke sites from scratch
