RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision of the Child Support Services Division (CSSD) Regional Director, responsible for all phases of trial and appellate work of Child Support caseload in assigned counties. Negotiates complex settlement of Child Support cases with opposing counsel. Prepares and monitors pleadings and preparation of cases for judicial hearings. Represents out-of-state petitioners in reciprocal support suits and monitors outgoing UIFSA cases. Responsible for trial of cases and appearance at Court or other judicial hearings. Assists in coordinating at county level interrelationship between CSSD and Family Court personnel. Handles appeals resulting from child support cases.
