Senior Research Analyst
The candidate will conduct and/or lead analyses of systems and their operations; associated doctrinal, policy, organizational, training, logistical, or command, control, and communications considerations; and/or other topics of concern to senior decision makers, all in areas related to national security, health, and other related military, homeland defense, or related inter agency operations (60%). Lead internal study efforts related to novel national security topics requiring development of new analytic approaches and/or technical/operational solutions (15%). Develop analysis plans, identify effectiveness measures and data requirements, craft analytic approaches, interpret results, and document and communicate results to sponsors (15%). Develop strategies for future studies and analysis throughout the Laboratory through engagement with current and potential sponsors and subject matter experts within the national security domain (10%).
