Software Test Engineer

Vistronix is seeking a Junior Software Test Engineer to join our IV&V Team in Arlington, VA. If you are interested in growing your skills and capabilities in this field, Vistronix has the ideal opportunity for you to join a robust team. The most qualified candidates will have some knowledge of software testing methodologies and an understanding of the process. We are looking for someone who is motivated and interested in learning from our other highly skilled staff members in a fast-paced environment. You will work as a member of a team that interfaces with the end-user as well as software development teams. Work is performed in a very collaborative work environment.

Applications are primarily client/server and web-based applications in a Microsoft Windows environment with IIS and Oracle and/or SQL Server backend.
A Bachelor’s degree is highly desired. In addition, successful candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a software development and/or testing environment. Knowledge of Independent Verification and Validation standards is a plus. Experience should include work in an MS Server 2003 environment; Active Directory; IIS 6.0; SQL Server; and general Oracle knowledge.
Candidates will be required to successfully complete a background investigation. US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.
