Role Description and Responsibilities:
Eclaro International is looking for a developer who lives and breathes .NET C# GUI development. He/she must be absolutely in love with this technology and must love building usable and functional user interfaces. Familiarity with the business domain is not as important as a deep knowledge of the technology subject. If you are applying for this role you must know what TPL is and how to use it, detailed differences between .NET 3.5, 4.0, 4.5 discovered through experience. You should have been playing with RX if not using it in your apps. Formal or informal training in usability is very important as well. The successful candidate must be passionate about unit testing and agile development process. The candidate must have a lot of energy and be an excellent communicator. He/she will be tested in the following subjects:
C#. NET
Usability and information architecture
Object Oriented Analysis and Design
Messaging (Tibco, MQ, or something else)
Configuration management
Continuous Integration
Testing Strategy
Testing non-functional requirements
Advanced Version Control
Agile development
The person in this role will work within Equities Trading technology group developing trading applications.
The person in this role will have the following responsibilities:
Develop trading systems
Work with Operate to ensure production stability and resiliency of the product
Employ best software development lifecycle practices (agile, continuous integration, automated testing, etc.)
Collaborate with quality assurance team to ensure test automation and overall quality of the product.
Collaborate with various technology teams, such as electronic execution, architecture, market data services, etc.
This role interfaces with various local and remote technology teams. It requires an individual that is comfortable with various aspects of technology (i.e. Architecture, Infrastructure, Database, and Software development).
Qualifications:
B.S. in CS, EE, Math, Physics or other technical major
Object Oriented Analysis and Design
.NETC#, GUI development
modern messaging architectures
Over 5 years experience of working in application development
Commitment and drive
Good communication skills
GUI Information Architecture and Usability training
Desirable:
Equities or Equities Derivatives Experience
