The Patient Care Technician helps to provide enhanced delivery of efficient and safe patient care. The completion of assignments/errands/tasks are delegated and supervised by the endoscopy team. This position provides tech support, as needed, to efficiently accomplish the lab function within the Endoscopy Center.   ','!*!MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:    

High school diploma or GED.
Specific Education:

A. Meditech and Surgery System computer training
B. Computer literacy with word processing skills
C. Phlebotomy certified
Licensure or Certification:  

American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required. 
Experience:   

Six months experience in a hospital setting preferred. Previous CNA experience preferred.
Equipment/Skills:     

Computer, physiologic monitor, intercom, ice machine, blanket warmer and O2 tanks/refer to performance skills.
