Assistant Director and Deputy Title IX Coordinator
Duties: Will be working with the Office of Equity, Inclusion and Compliance (EIC). Will be responsible for assisting the Title IX Coordinator with the institutional compliance efforts as required by Title IX, VAWA and Campus SaVE. Also works closely with the Title IX Coordinator in planning investigations, investigating complaint allegations, and managing the Title IX case log. Processes inquiries and complaints from the campus community and third parties in a timely manner while providing a fair and equitable process. Conducts investigations of discrimination, harassment or retaliation. Develops and implements a case management plan for each reported Title IX incident. Maintains a case management database to organize, manage and track Title IX incidents. Monitors and manage Title IX incidents to ensure an efficient response to complaints. Continuously identifies and integrates best practices in Title IX investigations and case management. Meets regularly with the Title IX Coordinator to ensure that University policies, procedures and practices are in compliance with Title IX investigations. Prepares monthly and annual statistical reports on the number, nature and disposition of complaints. Manages the day-to-day responsibilities associated with discrimination investigations.
