Senior Software Engineer

Profile

EnerNOC, a leading provider of demand response and energy efficiency solutions, has an immediate opening for a Senior Software Engineer to join our world-class Engineering organization. Based in Boise Idaho, the Senior Software Engineer position requires broad knowledge of software engineering as well as specific expertise in developing and supporting .NET software. Additional experience developing integrated solutions using Dynamics CRM is required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develops client tier, middle tier and data tier functionality, alongside other members of the software engineering team
• Develop Dynamics CRM integration
• Primarily responsible for enhancing current functionality and developing new functionality, based on current and future needs
• Coordinates with QA to discover and resolve defects
• Authors and maintains technical specifications
• Works closely with engineers to deliver high quality energy information software to the entire organization
• Performs support tasks
• Performs other duties as required
Required Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of experience developing commercial applications
• B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
• Experience with Dynamics CRM, including plugin development
• Experience with C#, Microsoft.NET, ASP.NET, MS SQL Server and the .NET framework
• Experience with LINQ
• Experienced in the production of thorough documentation
• Ability to prioritize developmental and operational tasks in a dynamic and challenging environment
• Ability to work within changing deadlines/priorities
• Ability to work in a team setting as well as independently
Desired Qualifications:
• M.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
• Experience developing rich internet applications for a SaaS
• Experience using Eclipse, JBoss, Facelets, and JSF.
• Experience with any of the following: portlets, AJAX, Cognos ReportNet, EJB 3, Oracle, Hibernate, UNIX, Flash, HTML 5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge and understanding of the energy market/domain
• Prior experience within, and/or a passion for, the clean technology sector
