SUMMARY OF POSITION
Warner Bros. Technical Operations Inc. seeks a Manager Global Partner Digital Operations for the Digital Operations department.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads planning and implementation of projects related to global partners, managing and facilitating project plans, including scope, objectives and deliverables. Includes, but not limited to:
•Oversees coordination of end to end activities for monthly releases, supporting all aspects of servicing and operations throughout the digital supply chain. Activities span from title availability, asset/metadata preparation, material order fulfillment and tracking, demand planning, vendor management, client acceptance and meeting client timelines/release dates.
•Supports and implements strategies pertaining to global partner launch/expansion initiatives.
Maintains relationships and coordinates across Tech Ops groups / vendors, WB Home Entertainment/Digital Distribution business teams (Sales/Marketing/Programming) and global partner teams worldwide, serving as a key liaison representing and supporting the studio’s business strategy. Has a strong understanding of the business' top priorities on a monthly basis. This includes, but is not limited to:
•Communication relating to all day to day operational activities pertaining to regular release schedules, launches, promotional opportunities, etc.
•Provides leadership and serves as a key client contact on a global level to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved and maintained. Includes participating in and/or leading operational calls, assessing expansion plans, addressing inquiries from clients, WB business teams and internal Tech Ops teams, striving to meet operational KPI’s and resolving issues and rejections across parties.
Monitors, measures and enforces processes through KPI reporting, statistics and data analysis. Responsible for process / workflow evaluation and re-engineering in order to ensure consistency and team effectiveness, increasing efficiencies and performance.
Support distribution and servicing of metadata to global partners, serving as a key Power User of MSB (Metadata Service Bureau) / TOPS (Tech Ops Platform System) and a Subject Matter Expert in developing and deploying metadata specifications.
Provides direction and support to team members; Manages and tracks the centralized team functions.
Develop/Implement tools and mechanism to enable flexible tracking of operational KPI’s and to be used across operational team functions. Support development and maintenance of reporting to alleviate operational issues and gain efficiencies across workflows and teams. Monitor and report on progress of client servicing projects/workstreams to upper management, via executive dashboards. Examples include:
•Status reports summarizing Global Partner initiatives.
•Statistical and cost analysis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS Degree in Business Technology / Operations is preferred.
Minimum 2 year experience in an operations and client servicing environment.
Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience in all aspects of digital operations (acquisitions, legal, asset management, content encoding, metadata, participations).
Minimum 1-2 year experience with Digital retailers within the last 2 years is a strong plus.
Minimum of 2 year experience with metadata delivery for digital media (EST, VOD, SVOD, Mobile, Rental).
Minimum of 2 year experience in data systems and liaising with MIS teams on technical details.
Minimum 1-2 year experience in managing and coaching staff.
Must have project management experience, leveraging project management-related tools, such as Microsoft Project and Sharepoint.
Must have experience in running excel macros and database tables, working with heavy amounts of data.
Basic administrative experience required.
Experience in utilizing technical tools and new technologies.
Must have experience using online/web tools and interfaces.
Must have strong client focus skills.
Must have strong knowledge and interest in the global expansion of Digital content media.
Must have understanding of Digital business, including electronic/ internet download, Cable/PPV rental and consumer product merchandising.
Must be flexible and have a positive attitude with a fast-changing environment.
Must maintain organized, current and accurate records and files.
Must be extremely detail-oriented.
Must have heavy analytical skills working with systems development.
Must have ability to think outside the box when streamlining and establishing processes and guidelines, and working with internal systems being developed for the Digital business.
Must have strong project management skills, from planning, organizing, problem-solving and communicating across key project stakeholders to meet project objectives in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to prepare clear and concise reports.
Must be tactful with personnel at all levels of the company and customer.
Must have strong skills in managing and coaching staff.
Must have strong problem solving skills.
Continuous Process Improvement skills are a strong plus.
