Senior Legal Information Librarian
The candidate will provide professional legal information, reference and research services to the law school and university community. Will assist legal researchers in effectively understanding and using new and existing resources, technologies and library services. Develop and teach legal research instructional classes for mandatory 1L research program, courses for credit, certification program, and other instructional settings. Develop web-based learning and research tools, including tutorials, course web pages, research guides, and instructional exercises. Participate in a faculty liaison program, do collection development for print and electronic resources, review and establish policies for the library and participate in the evaluation and hiring of new staff. Administer and market electronic resources licensed by the library. Support student and faculty use of databases, and serve as a liaison with product vendors. Serve on the electronic collection development committee.
