Strategic Academic Programs Manager
The candidate directs activities related to academic conferences and other scholarly events hosted by the College of Law. Working cooperatively with the College of Law’s conferences and events team to plan, coordinate, and implement academic conferences and other scholarly events. Develop academic event processes, budgets, timetables, checklists, databases, and templates. Gather information about the programs of competitor law schools, research potential guests, draft invitations, coordinate logistics, communicate with invited guests, make travel arrangements, compile itineraries, and perform all other duties related to the efficient and effective operation of academic conferences and other scholarly events. Compiles and organizes data related to faculty scholarship, potential faculty recruits and guests, academic conferences, and other scholarly events. Drafts reports summarizing scholarly activity and proposing new ways of maximizing scholarly impact. Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Juris Doctor degree is required.
