Manager - Alternative Investment Funds
The candidate will engage in business development activities (i.e. prepare proposals, present in webinars, collaborate with other service lines to market comprehensive tax strategies for prospective clients, etc.). Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, remain current on legislative changes, and lead change effectively. Conduct a primary and secondary review of complex federal and state tax returns. Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of Seniors, Associates, and Interns. A Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree; Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree is preferred. Should have 4+ years of relevant work experience in an accounting firm, with 3+ years of Alternative Fund experience. Advanced credential allowing for client representation before the Internal Revenue Service required (i.e. CPA or JD). Should be a self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Must be proficient use of technology.
