Senior PHP Developer

Profile

We are a small software company currently building a suite of cloud products designed for music industry professionals and artists. We specialize in artist promotion, development and career advancement through the use of social media analytics and social gaming dynamics.
We're a small team working out of the great city of Austin, Texas, and we're looking to expand our team with 1-2 experienced or highly capable developers with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for building things for musicians.
This is a full time, salaried opportunity: 70-90k with equity options packages available depending on experience.

Desired Skills & Experience
Experience requirements:
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent
-4 or more years developing web applications
-4 or more years experience developing with MySQL & PHP
What you are expected to know:
-mySQL & PHP (intermediate level or above)
-JavaScript / Jquery- HTML (HAML & html5 a plus)
Desired experience:
-Extensive knowledge of javascript, AJAX, jQuery, and CSS
-Development in Mac/Linux environments
-Test Driven Development
-Ajax
-eCommerce
-Social Network Engineering
-Knowledge of various JavaScript libraries and frameworks
-Database Administration
-RESTful services
-XML
-Linux
-Design Patterns: Active Record, MVC, at least.
-General experience working with services with exposed APIs such as Facebook's Graph API and Google Maps.
