One of Denver's most respected Independent Repair Shops has an opening for a Mid-Upper Level ASE Certified Auto Technician, whose goal is to progress to ASE Master Tech status. Shop is very modern in appearance and approach to business, but still maintains old fashioned customer service values.
Requires ability to perform electrical systems troubleshooting, engine diagnostics & drivability work, plus A/C testing and repair. Other general line experience needed would be doing timing belts, water pumps, brakes, steering suspension, scheduled maintenance, etc. Prefer 8-10 years previous auto repair experience in a quality conscious repair shop environment. Tech will submit recommendation to service advisor and help expedite ordering of needed auto parts and accessories.
Requires appropriate tools, typically $30k-$50k including tool box with up to date scan tool and test equipment. Must have valid Colorado Driver's license with clean MVR and be able to pass drug/background check. For this position, good skills and abilities are important, but equally important is a positive attitude and the desire to work as part of a team.
