Associate General Counsel - Transactional
The candidate will be responsible for supporting the sales, product, operations, technology and eCommerce teams by structuring and negotiating contracts with business partners, merchants, technology providers and other third parties. Will also support the Chief Legal Officer on corporate governance, compliance, financing, transactional, litigation and other matters that arise in our fast-growing business. Working closely with sales, marketing and product teams, negotiating a wide range of agreements, including agreements with business partners and merchants. Working closing with our technology and eCommerce teams- negotiating license, software development, cloud service and other agreements. Assisting with debt or equity financings, joint ventures and other transactions. Working with Chief Legal Officer and outside counsel to resolve and avoid litigation and other disputes. Working with all Company teams to improve efficiency, establish necessary processes, and enhance productivity. Law degree (top 20% of class or from a top school). 4+ years’ transaction experience at a law firm or in house. Licensed to practice in at least one U.S. State. Experience with technology-related agreements and complex transactions preferred.
