Director of the Civil Justice Clinic
The candidate will direct and teach its Civil Justice Clinic. Wwill be a full-time, 12-month, continuing non-tenure track position. Anticipate a start date of June 1, 2021. Will have discretion to develop the docket and focus on particular areas of interest moving forward. Teach clinic classes focused on lawyering skills, professional development, and ethical practice, employing clinical teaching methods. Supervise all aspects of student practice, employing clinical teaching pedagogy in the Civil Justice Clinic, and serve as the attorney of record in Clinic cases when required by the rules of the relevant jurisdiction. Oversee all aspects of administration of the Civil Justice Clinic, including but not limited to conducting outreach to clients, selecting cases, reporting to funding sources, and maintaining files.
