SUMMARY
Global Technical Service, LLC, a subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is currently seeking a qualified Senior Analyst II for our contract in Cherry Point, NC.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide procurement support for sustainment efforts to ensure coordinator to resolve replenishment actions and expedite unfilled orders to avoid emergency requirements and reduce customer wait times.
Provide research and recommend LSN candidates for consideration of catalogue actions and National Stock Number assignment.
Provide support to equipment specialist, customer support specialist, technicians, and demand planners to ensure long term support by assisting in research to identify material shortages relative to GDP requirements for the Navy.
Work closely with Supply Planners, Production Planners, Demand Planners, and Acquisition Specialist.
Serves as team member for management analysis and related supporting elements.
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Eight (8) years’ experience applies knowledge of management functions, processes, and analytical methods or techniques to gather, analyze, and evaluate information required by program/project managers and customers.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Five (5) years of directly related experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience and training in systems to include EBS, Distribution Standard System (DSS), JDA (formerly Manguistics), military service systems, and several other DoD and commercial products required to perform this specialized area of tasking.
Understanding of systems functionality and business capabilities.
Knowledge of aviation logistics and basic business disciplines such as accounting, management and finance.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Logistics, Information Management Systems.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
