Full-time, exempt (Tuesday - Friday & Sunday)
Accountable to:
Executive Pastor: Spiritual Formation & Care
Ministry Purpose:
This position will lead the volunteer teams that provide an atmosphere of warmth and connection to all of Northeast stakeholders and visitors. Will train and serve alongside volunteer teams for weekend services and special events. Will follow up with guests and help them to engage in the life of the church.
Specific Responsibilities:
To lead, organize and cast vision for our weekend volunteer teams.
Recruit, train and develop teams for these different areas of ministry: Traffic Teams
Greeters/Ushers
Servers
Coffee
Hospitality
Special Event weekends
Model behavior that exhibits the techniques and inviting presence the volunteers should be exuding.
Utilize creative strategies for welcoming people, facilitating guest follow-up and in partnership with Director of Next Steps.
Serve as the 2
nd
Point person for our NE Basics program in collaboration with Director of Next Steps.
Responsible for “big” weekends as it relates to recruiting volunteers, lobby themes (i.e. Easter & Christmas), parking, etc.
Help plan and execute moments beyond the service that invite our people to stay and develop community.
Work to develop sustainable ways to make our campus a hub of connection throughout the week.
Purchasing, stock & setup of weekend needs, communion, coffee, supplies, etc.
Responsible for ministry area budget
Cross train on security measures for facility and be a point of contact on weekends for volunteers and staff, if needed.
Utilize current database software for scheduling and coordinating volunteer serve schedules.
Work closely with Communications and Worship Arts to ensure consistency and collaboration for weekend services.

Along with the listed talents/abilities, this person should be someone that enjoys shepherding and pouring into people as a disciple-maker!
Qualifications:
2 years of First Impressions, Event planning, Volunteer Coordination or similar work experience. Experience with leading and discipling people towards spiritual growth.
