We Are Hiring

Dell Children's is hiring for a Child Life Specialist Full Time supporting the NICU

Bachelors required; Masters preferredCertified Child Life SpecialistBilingual PreferredPaid Work Experience in Child Life; NICU experience preferred

Hours will be 9:30AM-6PM

Monday-Friday rotating shifts and occasional Saturdays

( hiring leader will confer with candidates on schedule during interview as schedule may vary based on business need)

What You Will Do

Collaborate with the health care team to provide social, emotional, and developmental support during a pediatric patient's illness and hospitalization.


Supply a caring and secure atmosphere for patients and their families in pediatrics.

Collaborate with the health care team to plan appropriate interventions.

Develop and/or participate in outreach and educational activities to teach families, staff, and the community about issues and services related to ill and hospitalized children.

Maintain proper education to continue with professional development.


What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:


Child Life Professional obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.


Education:


Bachelor's degree required.
