Technical Support SpecialistAs the Technical Support Specialist, you will provide on-site and remote technical assistance to customers during installation/commissioning, maintenance, and unforeseen breakdowns of Dresser-Rand/Gimpel Equipment on all manufactured brands of steam turbines. Actively collaborates on projects across the organization supporting with technical expertise in the subject matter. Reports to the Tech Support Lead as part of the Engineering Team of the Gimpel Valves. Your Responsibilities: Presentation and communication skills on a variety of levels, customer relations, and self-motivationProficient using precision measurement equipmentAbility to diagnose electrical/mechanical/hydraulic problems quickly on operating machinery.Willingness and ability to occasionally work overtime, irregular hours, and travel on short notice.Strong mathematical and mechanical skills.
