SUMMARY: This position may be responsible for any of the following duties: planning and supervising the execution of cost effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of all equipment. This includes directing coordinating and supporting maintenance personnel, maintaining relevant records, ensuring Tyson and OSHA standards and programs are implemented, instructing in the use of personal protective equipment. Working with Contractor’s, Vendors or Corporate Engineering in the modification or installation of equipment in resolving new and or different technical problems regarding equipment.

Maintaining compliance with Process Safety Management Standards. Skill development of team members. This position is also responsible for coordinating Team Member schedules handling time and attendance records holding monthly safety meetings and performing other responsibilities as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Education beyond high school including Electrical and Electronic training in vocational school and or college courses. Experience: 3 plus years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance preferred. Previous experience as electronic technician or similar role, Hands-on experience with electronic testing and circuitry, Experience working with various electronic tools and test equipment including computers/Laptop using PLC software to program and or troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience with NH3 Refrigeration and Boiler controls is preferred.

Computer Skills: To include checking electronic mail, entering data into document templates and creating simple queries.

Travel: 1 to 5 trips per year. Supervisory Skills: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.
