Technology Lead

Profile

Critical Mass is currently looking for a Front End Technology Lead. As Technology Lead you’ll be tasked with delivering on fast paced, creative, campaign centric projects. You’ll put your knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build accessible, scalable, and performant web applications. You’ll collaborate closely with Project Delivery, Creative, QA and DevOps team members through each iteration of work, helping to push your project to the finish line. Previous leadership experience will be key to guiding & mentoring a small team of more junior developers through day to day problems, as well as ensuring a high quality of work.
This position can be done remotely depending on location within the US. US Citizenship is required to obtain U.S. security clearance.
You will:
Work with the Technology Director on strategic initiatives and campaign work.
Scope technical components of overall solutions accurately.
Enforce the development process and ensure appropriate project documentation.
Provide hands-on development support to project team where necessary.
Contribute to solution architecture designs and lead code reviews.
Understand technical complexities of multi-tiered web solutions and ensure appropriate design solutions are achieved.
Be a liaison to our remote development support team.
Collaborate iteratively with the Creative team, creating and adjusting prototypes accordingly.
You have:
5 years demonstrated development experience with hand-coding advanced HTML, CSS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Expertise developing with modern front-end tools and frameworks such as React.js
Successfully mentored and coached a technical team
2 years proven experience leading teams and delivering large web-based B2C projects
Adobe Experience Manager experience preferred
Knowledge of code and release management
Proven experience debugging large scale applications in production
Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and proven leadership ability
Ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced, client-services environment
Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools - JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, etc.
