The candidate acts as counsel to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and reviews all related contracts, including sponsored projects and clinical trials agreements. Gives advice to officers, management and medical staff on a wide variety of healthcare/legal issues, including to local, state and federal statutes, regulations, rules and guidelines in such areas as human research, confidentiality, peer review, medical staff and medical resident issues, licensing, informed consent, guardianship, and other healthcare provider requirements. Must have Doctorate Degree : J.D. (Required). Should be qualified for admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (Required). Must have 5 years of relevant legal practice experience (Required). Experience working in, or with, an academic medical center setting is preferred.
