What You Will Do
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Ascension Sacred Heart,
you will be responsible for performing basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
Assist with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
Assist patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
Assure resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate.
OR
As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at Ascension Sacred Heart
, you will be responsible for performing basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
Aid with movement and placement of patients.
Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Document necessary records.
Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.
Job Requirements
What You Will Need as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Ascension Sacred Heart
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Nurse Aide credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing - Certified Nursing Assistants obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.

What You Will Need as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at Ascension Sacred Heart
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
