Director Of Annual & Leadership Giving
Duties: Lead annual and leadership giving programs to new heights and lay a foundation for success both during and beyond the current campaign. Reports to the Executive Director, Advancement & Associate Dean, Law School and responsible for the strategic direction, implementation and management of the Law School’s annual giving program. Develops and executes strategies to increase overall Law School Fund participation and meets an annual goal for unrestricted gifts; grows key programs to maximize giving across constituencies; and, collaborates with colleagues in University Advancement to enhance coordination and efficiency. Oversees annual and leadership giving programs that include to reunion giving, law firm participation giving, the graduation gift, and the class agent program. Evaluates all current annual and leadership giving activity and develops plans to enhance current programs and expand BC Law’s ability to secure annual gifts. Manages a targeted portfolio of annual giving prospects that have the capacity to make gifts in the $25K-$100K range; oversees the department’s recruitment of volunteers and the development of improved marketing and training materials that support fundraiser and volunteer outreach on behalf of the School. Manages one Annual Giving professional fundraiser and shares functional supervision of an administrative assistant as well as collaborates closely with staff in major giving and prospect development within University Advancement to identify, classify, and solicit Law School annual giving prospects.
