Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Description of Duties:
Employee personnel assigned to Data and Telephone Infrastructure Support Services receive tasks from the RARS, directly from the NEC managers, or from the IT Service Desk employee. The Employee personnel assigned to Data and Telephone Infrastructure Support Services create a RARS ticket for any work received directly from a manager or IT Service Desk employee by the first business day after the work is received. Employee personnel assigned Data and Telephone Infrastructure Support Services receive tasks from Network Enterprise Center NSSC. Tasks received by telephone shall be entered into the RARS to create a ticket that describes the work to be performed.
Employee personnel shall provide installation, maintenance and repair of NSSC’s copper and fiber LAN infrastructure using industry standard practices and procedures. All LAN repairs must be addressed within 8 business hours. All new LAN installations must be addressed within 2 weeks of receipt of request.
Employee personnel shall work with NSSC Department of Public Works Personnel, construction vendors, mission project managers and end users to develop specific wiring plans and solutions for all new wiring projects and renovations.
Employee personnel shall update and maintain wiring documentation of the NSSC network
Employee personnel assigned to Data and Telephone Infrastructure Support Services task are required to have a SECRET clearance
