As an Engineer on the Merchandising Technology team, you will be responsible for delivering engineering solutions that address critical business needs within the Partner Management capability area which supports **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s Partner Portal built on Liferay, Vendor Master Data Management, Partner Data & Services, and Business Process Management. This role will work within the product model, collaborating with the product team(s) to develop solutions that consistently deliver working software of incremental business value for our strategic initiatives.

What you'll do as an Engineer:
Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle – architecture, design, development, MVP, and Dev Ops

Strong demonstrated ability to work directly with technical leads, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders
Demonstrate a creative and innovation-driven ability to articulate engineering design patterns related to scale, performance, security, and usability
Partner with various product and enterprise teams to review and analyze the strategy for key pricing initiatives
Work with architecture teams to align project goals with technology capabilities to finalize a solution blueprint covering all systems impacted and identifying technology solutions to implementation goals and strategies
Partner with various product and engineering teams to identify changes and impacts to all technology systems
Provide technology analysis and thought leadership in the Pricing Technology area and apply knowledge of IT systems engineering management to implement the solutions identified
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on standards and guidelines and the implementation patterns to be followed
Advocate for Test Automation strategy and ensure teams adhere to standards when developing software
Review test plans and guide the quality assurance team on manual and automation test strategies to be followed to ensure delivery of a high-quality product
Minimum Requirements:
6 years of professional experience in software development
3 years of experience in an Agile-based development methodology
Experience with modern front-end libraries/frameworks such as React, Node, Angular, Material UI, etc
Web application development experiences using Java, Spring, REST
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in test driven development practices, continuous integration and deployment practices
Experience developing solutions on Liferay digital platform
Strong product focus; we expect everyone to do what is needed to deliver the best product for our customers
Web application development experiences using Java, Spring, REST
Experience in implementation and deployment of modern web development solutions including: Java, Groovy, Spring, REST based web services, NoSQL databases, relational databases
Designing and developing complex technical solutions at scale
Experience using version control systems such as SVN or Git
Experience in test automation software (Selenium, Cucumber, etc)
Experience with bug tracking software such as Jira or ClearQuest
Proficiency with UNIX/Linux command line
Experience with any Cloud Computing platforms (e.g. Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Computing Platform, OpenShift and OpenStack)
Excellent interpersonal skills - you must be comfortable in small and large groups and interacting with senior executives
