Sr Architect/ Tech Lead

Our client is looking for a Senior Level Enterprise Architect/ Tech Lead for a 6 month contract. This position is right-to-hire and has a very good chance of extending or going permanent.
Top Must Have Skill Sets:
- Development background
- Someone who has actually architected applications. Has taken something new and architected it.
- Experience with database design- application level, not DBA level
- Java (preferred) or .net, SQL
- Ability to balance between business and technical- truly understand the technical side of things and be able to explain technical to the business (marketing, leadership, etc.)
Plus Skills:
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Mobile application development experience
- Experience working with high volume websites- have the ability to optimize for performance
- 50% architecture, 50% administrative (internal meetings, guiding developers in the right direction, etc.)
- Expereince as a Scrum Master or winthin a Agile/Scrum environment
Responsibilities:
- Have experience coding, but will not actually do a lot of coding (if any at all). Need to have an understanding of web applications so they will know the hurdles the client may come across and know what to do to overcome them. May do some coding at first so they can understand the internal applications, but not much in the actual day-to-day of the role
- Lead role, but zero direct reports, working with off-shore development teams
- Responsible for the overall architecture of applications- design and architecture of everything (the database, applications)
