Description
The Doctor Call Queue Pharmacist will:
*Provide resolution or outreach for a resolution on prescriptions that are considered incomplete, invalid, or contain clinical issues preventing
the fulfillment of the request.
*Check for completeness and accuracy of prescriptions
*Interact with fellow health care team members
*Assure compliance with legal requirements within the pharmacy
*Other duties as assigned by leadership
Responsibilities
The Doctor Call Queue Pharmacist will:
Provide resolution or outreach for a resolution on prescriptions that are considered incomplete, invalid, or contain clinical issues preventing the fulfillment of the request
Ability to work and use professional judgement to come to sound clinical decisions based on the information available.
Check for completeness and accuracy of prescriptions
Interact with fellow health care team members
Assure compliance with legal requirements within the pharmacy
Other duties as assigned by leadership
Work at Home position with virtual training.
Shift will initially be 9am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday.
Required overtime during peak periods.
Required Qualifications
Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
Licensed as a PHARMACIST in FL
Must reside Florida
Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs
Self-directed, but also able to work well in a group
Work ethic that is focused, accurate, and highly productive
Excellent communication skills
Proficient with computers
Preferred Qualifications
3 years' experience in a high volume community or mail order pharmacy practice environment
Desire career advancement within the company
