Web Development For A Surface Area Flooring Calculator
We run a flooring e-commerce website, and are looking to implement a Calculate Your Flooring feature, where the user inputs the room size or area, and the calculator outputs how many packs of flooring they need.
I have attached a PDF containing links to pre-existing examples of this sort of flooring calculator in action on other websites.
I am quite tech savvy myself, I know base-level HTML, CSS & PHP. But as a business owner, I dont have the time in hand to learn the remaining skills needed to achieve this. So dont be afraid to use tech specific jargon when talking to me, we can bonce off one another to form new ideas if needed :)
I have also formed a quite specific initial design layout, so this should save you a lot of time, rather than having to survey me on exactly what im looking for.

This will be implemented into our Shopify store, staff access can be given once its time to implement the feature. But wed appreciate if it can firstly be developed in your own environment, because our website is already live and we dont to disturb customer flow.
