Deputy District Attorney III
Duties : Prepares and prosecutes difficult legal cases and performs related tasks. Makes recommendations for dispositions of felony cases of average difficulty. Interviews witnesses in preparation for court proceedings. Negotiates with defense attorneys regarding the disposition or modification of charges in felony cases of average difficulty as assigned. Files, prepares, and presents cases against minors in juvenile court as assigned. Assists higher level attorneys in preparation and presentation of more complex cases. Supervises law clerks in court hearings as required by law. Performs related work as required.
