Cybersecurity Corporate Counsel
The candidate will provide legal guidance—advising, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating—client and supplier agreements with clients of our cybersecurity offerings. Will also provide legal guidance on data privacy and information security provisions with compaby’s healthcare clients and proactively advise Cerner executives on existing and emerging data privacy and information security laws. Specialized knowledge in cybersecurity and global healthcare privacy, including the GDPR, California Consumer Privacy Act, state information security statutes strongly preferred. Another core component of role will be to partner with the business to execute effective strategies to reduce risk throughout firm. Should have JD from an American Bar Association accredited law school. Must have License to practice law in Missouri or ability to obtain license to practice as an in-house attorney based in Missouri. 2 years of work experience as an attorney is required. Should preferable have 2 years of partner-track work experience in a top law firm or in-house work experience focused on cybersecurity and global healthcare privacy.
