JOB DESCRIPTION: Oracle DBA
Qualifications: -6 years experience in database administration and design. -Proven experience in implementation of high availability solutions with Oracle 10g/11g RAC, CRS, Physical and Logical Standby database, Active Data Guard, LogMiner and Golden Gate. -Proven experience in Grid Control (Oracle Enterprise Manager), RMAN/backups/Recovery, import/export and data pump -Extensive experience in performance tuning of RAC and large scale Oracle databases (>1TB) -Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripting and analyzed Batch programs –
Proven ability to troubleshoot and trace data related issues throughout the architecture -Proven experience of large scale OLTP and OLAP and DSS database deployments -Demonstrated experience in meta-data management and data traceability techniques -Experience in using data quality and data profiling technologies and utilizing the tools like Explain plan, AWR, ADDM and implementation of partitioning and indexing. -Must be strong in analyzing reports generated from tools and action plan to overcome performance issues. -Excellent verbal and written communication
