Successful Import New Car Dealership adding a new position to their office staffing due to increase in business. This new Assistant Office Manager position will have multiple and varied responsibilities, all equally as important. Requires a strong automotive accounting and bookkeeping background. A partial list of these duties would include reconciling bank statements, reviewing accounts payable prior to processing checks, payment of sales and use taxes to the state and counties, paying property taxes, calculating depreciation, monitoring receivables of manufacturer incentives and warranty reimbursements. Busy and sometimes hectic environment with month end and year end reporting deadlines. This person will do 1st review of the financial statement and dictate journal entries, accruals, etc. Requires minimum 5 years dealership accounting experience, preferably using ADP Drive DMS.
