Job Summary

The payments landscape continues to evolve as the technologies, products and processes advance with the way we live, work and interact with the world around us. The Payment team is looking for a energetic and organized individual to help us organize our payment project efforts and drive exceptional execution on delivering those projects. They will be responsible for directing the payments PMO and strategic planning involved with important and large-scale business projects supporting payments. Manages, Develops and recommends plans for implementation and administration of projects. Oversees coordination of personnel required to successfully complete assignments. Provides visibility and regular status reporting regarding the health of individual projects and the overall portfolio of payment initiatives.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities


Researches, designs and develops corporate, division and/or region level projects that deliver cost-effective services to support the Company's business objectives.

Leads projects of major importance to overall business operations. Works with various senior managers and leaders to lay out project implementation guidelines and plan for manpower and/or other resource requirements.

Evaluates outside service providers or contractors; provides direction in the development of tailored services; negotiates contract terms and conditions.

Assists with staffing requirements relating to corporate projects. Conducts interviews, hires and trains new employees for specific project assignments.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Preferred Qualifications


5-7 years Experience in project and/or program management

Experience managing and organizing a PMO

Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Knowledge of MS Office software, such as Word, Excel and Access database

Experience with Project Management Software for work management and reporting

Must have exceptional business focused and technical presentation skills to ensure clear understanding and alignment on all activities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent problem-solving skills

Strong organizational, interpersonal, leadership, team-building, decision-making, conflict resolution and negotiation skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain confidentiality and listen to ideas and understand information presented verbally or in writing

Conform to the highest standards of conduct and ethics, including sound honesty and integrity

Experience in wireless Telecom and related industries desirable

Experience in service and billing-based payments desirable

Customer Experience and Payments knowledge preferred

High degree of flexibility, creativity, innovation, and critical thinking
