Back-End Lead Developer:
Back-End Developers primary responsibility will be designing/coding the back-end/business logic of the application
Candidates must know best practices development and know/follow coding standards
Candidates need to have a solid understanding of OO Design and recent experience with the following technologies: Java, JEE, Struts and/or Spring, Hibernate, JBoss, EJB, XML, JMS, and strong SQL knowledge
Things to ask candidates and to include in the candidate write-up - What they have done with Web Services – Any Soap Web Services experience – What version of Java they have worked on (We are currently on Java5 and Java6) – What MVC have they worked with – Any experience with Hibernate – How long have they been working on web applications – Any experience/knowledge of Action Classes – Ok with SQL – Have they worked in an Agile environment on a Scrum team – Involved in a Sprint Planning/Design
The following skills/knowledge are a PLUS: CMS and Mobile Development, Secure Coding Practices, PCI Data Security Standards, OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project)
