Intellectual Property Paralegal
The candidate will support the management of patent prosecution within the Technology Licensing Office. Will work closely with the intellectual property officer to develop and implement tools, processes, and strategies to support the work of TLO licensing colleagues in order to ensure the appropriate protection of company’s intellectual assets. Will also have significant input on best practices for patent portfolio management; be responsible for data integrity within the current patent database and assist with the conversion to a custom-developed patent management database; and work closely with colleagues in the TLO with respect to patent matters and correspond with outside counsel on patent filings and case transfers. Interacts with the TLO staff and the company’s community at large.
