Description

The Senior Market Development Professional provides support to assigned health plan(s) relative to Behavioral Health RFPs, product implementations and operational support. The Senior Market Development Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations, requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors that could impact Market implementations and/or operations.

Responsibilities


The Senior Market Development Professional acts as a behavioral health subject matter expert for a given cross-functional area (claims, health/clinical, member, provider/network, vendor)
Assesses and identifies behavioral health state requirements, advises, and contributes to work processes to ensure requirements are met
Supports the discovery and design of behavioral health RFP and Medicaid contract requirements
Makes decisions or recommendations on potential solutions for behavioral health opportunities
Analytical and process-oriented thinker, with ability to leverage, enhance existing and/or design new processes


Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree
1 years Medicaid managed care or Medicaid provider experience
1 years project leadership experience
2 - 5 years' experience in behavioral health
2- 5 years' experience with managed care implementations and/or operations


Preferred Qualifications


Bachelor's degree, in behavioral health related field
Master's Degree in behavioral health or health care related field
Six Sigma certification

Position is open to remote working Eastern Standard Time (est)

Work-At-Home Requirements


WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information


Covid Policy
