Position Overview:
Manages the design, development and/or implementation of new or enhanced systems projects or programs. Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project and meeting interim deadlines of project. Communicates with internal and external parties on project status. Prepares reports for management review. Scope and complexity of projects may vary. Operates under general direction. Assignments are very broad in nature and of the highest level of complexity. Able to impact beyond area of responsibility. May instruct, guide and oversee work of lower-level technical professionals. Consults and makes recommendations to management on significant issues. Responsible for developing and implementing new products and/or approaches in conjunction with implementing new/existing technologies. Knowledge encompasses entire scope of a technical discipline and has received recognition for development of one or more unique sub-specialties. Generally requires 8 to 12 years of directly related professional experience and possesses deep technical abilities in one or more primary products, programs or technologies.

Shield Advance Solutions Delivery has openings for seasoned information technology project managers required for day to day technical and tactical implementation of membership migrations to the Facets platform.

Experience and tactical skills required:
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•Experience on managing large weak matrix development teams

•Must be highly proficient with project management and SDLC principles

•Must have been accountable for managing complex projects across a full SDLC cycle in technology based implementations/deployments

•Microsoft Project expertise required, project server desired

•Agile development/project management methodology concepts desired

•Risk, Issue, Assumption, Dependency management skills required

•Integration and Interface delivery experience required

•Facets experience desired

Soft skills desired:
•Ability to manage team members in multiple work sites (on and off shore) and development partners

•Soft skills to develop effective relationships with project stakeholders

•Hands on project management experience

•IT / Technical background, at least 10 years experience of implementing custom development business applications

•Project Management professional qualification desired, at least 5 years experience of managing complex inter-related projects

•Must have exceptional communication and negotiation skills

•Expert facilitation skills required, SCRUM Master skills preferred

•Must have ability to pay attention to both detailed and high level program issues

•Ability to quickly grasp root cause to complex technical issues

•Must be able to articulate options and solutions to complex problems

•Able to navigate in a complex and sometimes political landscape to effectively deliver on project commitments

•Ability to work in cross-matrix multi-towered environment

•Health Care Payer business domain knowledge desired

•Strong delegating skills

•Active listener
