This position applies a thorough knowledge of the needs of a business area and knowledge of software engineering principles to design and develop software applications for new products or product enhancements. The senior engineer develops code to meet requirements and specifications of application. The senior engineer will perform testing, troubleshooting and debugging of application throughout the development process. The senior engineer will investigate emerging technologies, identify new product opportunities and establish parameters for product direction and design. ','!*!
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
4-6 years of knowledge in the business area and 6 years of experience working with programming software design, application and database development, QA, documentation and rollout.
The position requires the ability to understand and interpret the client's business requirements, strong analytical capabilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
This individual is expected to have a strong knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle processes and methodologies for software development.
Staff should have expertise in more than one software language such as .Net, C#, VB, HTML, JavaScript, Java, XML, etc.
