Essential Functions:Assists Engineering team with testing, equipment installation, maintenance, and repair.Assists with equipment and machinery setup,u00A0equipment validation with direction.Observes and listens to mechanical devices in operation to locate source of problems; utilizes precision measuring and testing instruments as needed.Assembles mechanical parts and assemblies.Performs routine preventive maintenance and repairs on machines used for testing. Assists with troubleshooting and diagnosing simple to moderately complex problems with equipment.Researches and develops resolutions to equipment issues.Assists engineers with 3D modeling and 2D drafting on parts and components.Assists engineers with minimal design, inspection of parts, and prototype testing of parts.Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum two (2) years of hands-on experience with electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, or relevant experience.Experience with CAD software, a plus; Solidworks preferred.Experience with CAM & CNC controls/programming, a plus.Basic knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMPs).Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.Ability to moderately lift, push, and/or pull up to forty (40) pounds.
