The Senior Risk Management Professional identifies and analyzes potential sources of loss to minimize risk. The Senior Risk Management Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Senior Risk Management Professional is responsible for managing, monitoring, and reporting on Humana Pharmacy Solutions process for self-identifying potential compliance, financial, and operational risks and issues. Manages and improves upon Humana Pharmacy Solution's existing processes and tools related to issue identification, management, and remediation. Facilitates weekly discussions with a large group of business owners to understand issues, identify root cause, and develop remediation activities. Additional review of information provided and individual discussions are often also required to ensure progress is taken. Develops effective and timely reporting of issues and root cause, and also utilizes Enterprise Solution Point, Access Database, and Power BI to gather information and provide informative reporting. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Previous experience with root cause and issue remediation (2 years)
Proficiency in project management
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access
Strong Written and Verbal communication
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Process improvement or six sigma certification
Experience with Enterprise Solution Point
Experience in Risk Management (2 years)
Healthcare industry experience
