Associate Director, Academic and Joint Adjunct Instructor
Duties: Under general supervision from the College of Business Finance Department Head, will oversee the administration and direction of a new, multifaceted technology center. Report to the Director of the Johnson Investment Institute and has a dotted line reporting relationship to the LCB Director of IT. Manage day to day operations of the Lab, including schedules and support staff. Collaborate with faculty to incorporate Lab resources into academic course curriculum to enhance student experience and build business/community partnerships. Develop Lab training and support resources for students and faculty; Train student assistants to support Lab clients; Train MS and PhD students in data management and retrieval. Assist faculty with data retrieval. Recommend software licenses and upgrades to support innovative learning. Assist with the maintenance of hardware and technology resources. Provide continuing education to faculty, students, and external stakeholders to assist and resolve complex questions and issues; represent the university internally and externally. Implement internal policies, procedures, controls, and manage processes to advance departmental goals. Prepare reports, disseminate/interpret information, provide advice, deliver presentations, initiate contractual agreements, and ensure that all programs and services comply with university accessibility requirements. Support conferences and seminars which may include serving on various departmental committees and representing the department at various state and national associations.
