Job duties include:
Assist clients according to their care plan which may include: companionship, meal preparation and service, light housekeeping, transportation, shopping, medication reminders, bathing, body care, dressing, feeding, ambulation, positioning, transferring, toileting, and protective supervision.
Update and coordinate with staff on any changes of condition.
Follow company Infection Control practices; notify the office if in need of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) or supplies.
Complete Company-paid training as required by client care needs and/or changes in company policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part time work in caregiving, either in-home or facility-based. Exceptions to this requirement are for recently licensed Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Home Health Aides (HHAs), or persons who will only be providing companionship and housekeeping services.
CNA or HHA license preferred.
Proof of current TB testing.
Speak fluent English
Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position.
Must have available reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
Must possess excellent communication skills.
Be mature, caring, punctual, and reliable.
Pass a Level II criminal background check.
Provide verifiable professional and personal references.
