Summer Associate Program, 2021
The summer associates get involved in real assignments. Will have the flexibility to select assignments from as few or as many practice groups as interested in sampling, including pro bono. Will be provided a mentor and receive extensive practical and substantive training, including a two day nationwide orientation and training program. Should have a record of academic excellence, demonstrated leadership, superior written and analytical abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and interest in the firm. The summer associates receive informal feedback from mentors and other lawyers they work with over the course of the summer. A mid-summer and end-of-summer review provides an opportunity to receive more formal feedback about each work assignment. The program generally lasts 8-10 weeks.
