Director, Gift Planning
The candidate will manage and coordinate the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of prospects for deferred gifts. Maintain portfolio of prospects and donors and schedule at least 120 visits/year. Serve as a strategic resource to principal and major gift officers to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward gift planning prospects and donors. Develop a strategy to incorporate a gift planning component to a major or principal gift proposal. Oversee the internal administration of the Gift Planning Department. Manage the records, processes and systems to ensure that appropriate gift acceptance policies are followed, realized estates and trusts are supervised to timely fruition and donors with income generating gifts are stewarded accurately. Supervise the Assistant Director, Gift Planning.
