This role will be a Technical Lead in a DevOps team within Digital and Technology, focusing on IaC and CI/CD.
Key Responsibilities:
• Setting up reliable monitoring & deployments from team environments for new and existing projects
• Monitoring and making sure things are running smoothly in the environments that we own
• Creating solid CI/CD pipelines for the teams we support
• Automating infrastructure creation (IaC/GitOps)
• Ensures the quality and integrity of the SDLC for their teams including CI/CD, monitoring, and alerting using an infrastructure as code approach including a test-first mindset.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement in how the team works through usage and adoption of recommended tools and standards.
• Mentors team members to be better technically at their craft, as well as organizational challenges and skills, using their past experiences and new information gained via learning as their craft advances.
• Ensures sufficient documentation exists for the products their team is responsible for, and the documentation is maintained

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• 2 years of DevOps experience
• 5 years of Development and/or Operations experience
• 3 years of experience with Cloud Technologies (GCP, AWS preferred)
• 2 years of Kubernetes experience

Preferred Qualifications:
• 1 year’ of Tech Lead/mentoring experience
• Terraform or other IaC familiarity
• Some programing ability outside of IaC (Java, node.js, etc)
• Ability to be flexible in daily work
• Great communication skills
